“I was one click away from entering the auction, but personally I didn’t want to spend another 22 weeks in a bubble.” Starc told cricket.com.au ahead of the mega auction.

The 32-year-old further said that he wants to return to the IPL one day but his priority remains to play for Australia in all game formats.

“There will be a time when I would love to return to the IPL, but as far as wanting to play as much as possible for Australia, that’s a decision I’ve made for a while,” Added Mitchell Starc.
